(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/applicationsbgb/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114We provide ballet classes for toddlers children, as well as ballet classes for adults. From the age of three, students can start weekly recreational ballet classes, attending weekly lessons of 45 minutes each. These classes encourage freedom of expression through the use of imagery and structured improvisation, exploring the elements of dance in a creative way. Rhythmic movement sequences, that may incorporate singing, are used to help the development of co-ordination skills.
At the age of five, students are prepared for their Cecchetti Examinations and are requested to come in twice a week for hour-long classes.
The exams start from Pre Primary level leading up to all major professional examinations of Intermediate, Advanced I, Advanced II and teaching qualifications DDE. For the major professional examinations, students must attend classes three times a week, making up four to five hours per week.
The School also offers training in Classical Ballet for boys. The boys’ training differs to that of the girls since it is more athletic. Boys are given discounted fees.
