A group of students together with two dance teachers from the Brigitte Gauci Borda School of Ballet, Lynne Salomone Reynaud and Sue Vassallo attended the “World Dance Movement” held in Castellana Grotte, Bari, Italy.

Many styles of dance were available to the students, such as, Ballet, Modern Jazz, Lyrical Jazz, Theatre Jazz, Hip Hop, Active-Isolated Flexibility and Stretching and Contemporary. At the end of the week the students performed the routines learnt in an open air amphitheater. Awards and scholarships were given out at this event.

Teacher, Ms Sue Vassallo won the Hip Hop Award whilst student, Francesca Mifsud won a scholarship to attend next years course in Theatre Jazz.

The top-notch faculty from America, included Michele Assaf, Desmond Richardson, David Marquez, Joshua Pelatzky and Mishay Petronelli.
